A unique Irish gin named after the namesake of a cow, this is Bertha’s Revenge. Let’s dive in. It's produced from whey and uses 18 botanicals.
Powerful! Punchy! Juniper heavy with tons of lemongrass, lime, salinity, slate and pepper. Botanical heavy, it’s lovely on the nose.
Moderate mouthfeel, dominated by juniper once again. Slate and minerality, honey, lemon and a powerful dash of juniper. Yum.
Long finish, lightly lactic, lemon cream, honey, cream and punchy acidity.
Overall, this is a wild gin, it’s unabashedly juniper forward with plenty of other botanicals at play. Lovely.
