Refreshing, Easy Gin Cocktail

An easy gin cocktail that uses lightly-flavored soda water, citrus and London Dry Gin.

If a gin and tonic isn’t you’re thing, this quick and easy seltzer-based cocktail may be just the perfect alternative.

Ingredients

  • 5 oz of any citrus-flavored sparkling water
  • 1 citrus wedge of choice (I’m using lime)
  • 2 oz London Dry Gin of choice
  • 1 Tall glass half-filled with ice

How to Make This Drink

Fill your glass just about half-way with ice. Pour your London Dry Gin in — we used Beefeater London Dry Gin — and give your citrus wedge a hearty squeeze before placing it in the glass. Add in 5 ounces of your favorite citrus-flavored sparkling water and give it a good swirl.

As with any cocktail, please modify measurements to your liking. As-is, this drink has a modest balance of gin and sparkling water. Add more gin to make it stronger or pour in less mixer.

Enjoy!

Citrus sparkling water goes great with London dry gin. Good & Gather’s Yuzu Mandarin Sparkling Water is a great choice to consider pairing with our favorite juniper-based spirit. If you can find it, the yuzu’s delicate floral notes come through shockingly well for a sparkling water. Since there are so many citrusy sparkling waters out there, it’s easy to find one you’ll like.

For other modifications to this drink, you can switch up your garnish by using an orange or grapefruit wedge. London Dry style gins are compatible with a lot of citrus fruits!
